Overall height?

What will be my overall height off ground for a Bigfoot 25c10.4 camper on 2016 GMC Double cab 4x4 Dually. No A/C but will have Max Air vent covers.....camper spec is 8' 3" from deck to top of fridge vent.
  • Most pickup truck bed floors are 30-36" from the ground, depending on 4x4 versus 2wd, brand, year, loaded versus unloaded, tire size, etc. So add 2-1/2 to 3 feet to whatever your camper height is and that will be your ballpark overall height on the truck.
  • Not quite the same, my BF 10.4 on a Ford F350 dually 2x4, no AC, no Maxair vents, about 10' 8". 4x4 is going to add about 3". Max air probably 6". You are going to be pretty close!
  • Thanks for your thoughts guys, but I was hoping someone with the same rig might chime in with their known height.
My present Bigfoot 25c 9.6b on GMC 3500 srw is 11'3".....hoping to fit under 11'8" beam at storage place with on order new rig.
  • Bigfoots are pretty short and GMC are generally shorter than some other trucks, so my guess is about 11 ft. Of course, it matters how much you drop when the is trucks loaded.

You won't know for sure until you measure.
  • If you are the least bit unsure, get a long board across the highest point, and measure from there to the ground on both sides. Then add 6 inches. Make sure you have the tip of your radio antenna at least higher than the highest point. Once you know the height, write it on a sticker, and post it on your dashboard, and leave it there!
