Overhang supports?

Today I've heard about donuts that sit on top of the cab & help support the weight of the bed above the Drivers cab & then are also struts that help support.

So what have you found that works best & why do you like it so much?

I will be doing lots of desert off road driving to get to my spots & that makes me think of Bouncing & wonder how to best prepare for it?

    First off the Lance struts are for highway driving only. They function to reduce the proposing effect on expansion joints. Their literature states that you have to remove them for off highway camper use.

    A donught is going to crush your roofs thin metal and scrape the hell out of the paint.

    Just make sure you have at least 4" of clearance from roof to cabover and go explore.
