….there are some nice Zetros 1833 expedition trucks out there totally built-out ...single rear axle, with 10 ton payload cap. There may only be a handful of these in the Americas (brought in by expeditioning Europeans doing trans-continentals), but used units for very reasonable prices (under 150,000 Euro) are available in Europe....importing and shipping cost to NA is an unknown.
Let’s hope you don’t have a mechanical problem with the Zetros out in the boonies, parts and service will be a long expensive ways away.:B - silversandExplorer….there are some nice Zetros 1833 expedition trucks out there totally built-out ...single rear axle, with 10 ton payload cap. ….following :)
….I've been in several Earth Roamers (one heavily customized, and very seriously traveled). Nice rigs.

Expedition Vehicles
If you are buying used there is one that is listed that has issues so beware.
For me I like Earthroamers, thought of buying one but I would be afraid of using it for the cost. In my opinion there are more rugged choices to buy if you want rugged and there are more affordable but less rugged if you are not needing the expedition capable units.
Living in Michigan, it's an 'expedition' just driving on the roads. - js218ExplorerDefinitely going to check out Expedition rv in Springfield Mo. Lot more choices when it comes to the chassis.

The earthroamer is not going to be any more 'offroad' then what you have.
Hmmm. I think approach, departure and break over angles might be a tad better. The super C looks like it would bottom out going through a wash.
