Did you consider making a post in the Rallies, Shows and Gatherings Forum? Perhaps if you did, others may see the Overland Expo East - Oct. 3-5, 2014, Asheville, NC. The Overland Expo is not unique to TCs, and other RV'ers might be interested if they knew about it.
Any TC's going?
I hope the mods let this stay on the TC forum b/c I am interested in trying to see if any TRUCK CAMPERS are going.
And I don't always check the rally forum... but I didn't see anything about it over there.
Thanks.
Your question about any TRUCK CAMPERS going is a valid question to post on the TC Forum. I do suggest making other RV type owners aware of the Expo.

***** OK, from what I understand you can register as a SINGLE ($280) and then add on a spouse for a DAY PASS ($45)? My DH would be taking some classes, and I want to camp on site, so then I'll buy a Day Pass. Still kinda pricey, but not as bad as diesel fuel to Arizona Overland Expo West location LOL.
I am bummed b/c we can only afford one trip down and I wanted to see Chong and Barry again at Smoky Bear CG for the TN TC Rally in Nov :( But I have been dying to see Overland Expo and who knows if this east coast one will happen again next year. I'd kick myself for missing it. - kohldadExplorer IIII sure am interested in it and would love to stay on site, but $490 for the two of us is a bit high. Anybody know what the day pass is expected to cost?
For those not from the area, if you want to camp nearby there is Pisgah Campground about 30 miles south on the parkway, Powhatan Lake about 15 miles away. Commercial campground too, but I have no clue about them.
Unfortunately, Oct 3-5 is going to be shy of any significant color, even at the 6,000 ft elevation south on the BRP or near Mt Mitchell to the north, so can't combine the two trips. At least a week early, probably two. At least the weather should be near perfect. - GoinThisAwayExplorerclicky
I'll have to check my calendar!
They did move my post about a TN TC Gathering this NOV over to the rally forum but I doubt if they'll move this to the rally forum as it's just talkin' about one.
