Interesting... Goes to show the lever action of pulling up in the middle of the truck. My kids stroller folds in half the same way.
I agree something seems fishy, the truck bent in half but wasn't pulled backwards and the driveshaft didn't break...?
X 2. I was thinking similar. Also nobody seemed too upset about the 'damage' to the truck. - minnowExplorerYep, this is America's Future Leaders right there. We are so screwed.

I agree something seems fishy, the truck bent in half but wasn't pulled backwards and the driveshaft didn't break...? - DutchmenSportExplorerI think the entire stunt is rigged. If you look carefully at the truck at the beginning, the body is already bent in the middle. When it get's straightened out again, it looks like it's bent the same way, no more, no less ... like its on a hinge. Driver might be inside releasing a pin. If it was really bent THAT much, the drive shaft would be bent all to ****! not to mention the damage done to the transmission. Nah! This is rigged. It's a great stunt, but still rigged!
And yes, the weight in the back of the pick-up would have advantage over the monster truck. Probably, if the pick-up was just pit in park with the brakes on, the monster truck probably could STILL not pull it. Even that part is rigged. There again, it's a stunt for entertainment. Nothing more. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIThat's right..uh huh.....bend a Dodge RAM in half and all you have to do is bend it back & still out tow other trucks.
Dang ...that's real truck! - kmbeltExplorernot that impressive or surprising to me. they had THOUSANDS of lbs of concrete in the bed of that truck and then had the line up and over the blocks which increased the ability.
- romoreExplorer IINow THAT'S torque
- gboppExplorerThey may be onto something. It may be an option in a few years.
Park a large truck in a smaller space? :B
