Overloading a pickup from time to time - a tradition?

Is overloading a pickup once in a while a time honored tradition where you are from?

Firewood
Water tank
sand
a few booshels of feed
truck camper
stock racks
gooseneck trailer + hay
nice load of small square bales for the hosses
ton of bricks from a tv commercial

    Once in awhile?!?!?!?!

    When I was landscaping more than I am now, it was daily per the door sticker, but UNDER paid for gvw, under federal bridge laws, so legal per the man in the shack and van with scales in it.

    Carry insurance accordingly, away I went!
