Painting cabinets - what about brown trim / bead / welt

I was going to paint some of the cabinets in my TT - at least the large fake wood expanses. They have this plastic round trim bead at every inside corner to hide the seam (where you'd have baseboard ...

If you use the right primer and finish coat, nearly any surface or material can be painted. I'd suggest to visit a paint store (like Sherwin-Williams) and inquire about painting the cabinets and trim. They will be happy to give you good advice about the right materials and techniques.
