I agree with eDUBz. I'm a painter too. Don't do it. Thinning it won't work. You need the mil thickness to make it hold up. And like he said, the amount of prep work that's needed would be insane. If you want to do something, price a vinyl wrap or something like that, but don't do bedliner.
