Kind of local for me (60 miles away) and I have one of their truck campers and I'm quite happy with it. Palomino actually started out building just truck campers a long time ago as a privately owned business in Colon, Michigan, right where they are today. Back in the 60's the original building was destroyed by a fire and the owner rebuilt but the 60's downturn in RV sales got him and Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway) acquired the company as well as many others.
Lots the original employees stayed on and are there today. I find them easy to deal with and if I need something I buy it direct. They will sell parts direct to you, even have a store on premises.
You live close enough (Willard) to make a day trip and go visit. Right off Mi 12 south of Three Rivers on the west side of Colon.
Nice folks, nice (busy) plant too.
Have a friend who delivers campers for them.
Colon has some interesting stuff to see too. Small farm town with a good diner. Stop there and have lunch.
