I had an '03. I bought it knowing I had to work on it. Replaced the roof, skirts and front cap. I like the way it was constructed. Stress skin panel on aluminum frame side walls. It was easy to repair even with major leaks issues and could not tell where the repairs were unless I pointed them out.
Issues were caused by lack of maintenance by previous owner.
Pros:
Couldn't tell it was on the truck. 2300 lbs. on 2500HD.
Cons:
Tanks too small (7 black and 8 grey).
Distance from bed to step to floor too long(No basement). Wife was sure she would fall and break something. She wouldn't accept the fact that she was the problem with short legs.
It was a good little economical camper. And I love the wife so I sold it as directed and got one that she approved of.
Yes, If the wife weren't going along I would buy another.
