Palomino Stampede Owners - Help requested.

Last July, I decided to tackle the bathroom floor soft spot. That started the biggest repair project I could have ever imagined involving two wall to wall/floor separations, and the vast majority of the subfloor and flour joists requiring replacement or repair.

A year later, I'm almost done with the repair. I'm putting the new tile floor in this weekend and then I'll be at the point of putting the puzzle pieces back together. I have lots of pictures taken during the destruction period, but still might need some help to see how things go back together, especially into a non-rotted floor. So, I'm asking that anyone that has an RV similar to my 2001 Palomino Stampede S-21 (different length, different year OK) and would be willing to send me some pictures, to please send me a private message.

Here's the story: http://s792.photobucket.com/user/brianstone00/story/16031#

Please and Thanks!

  • We had a 2001 Palomino Stampede S-21 just like yours, sent you a PM already.
  • I have a Coachmen Cadet, which is almost identical to yours. I had the same issue with the rear wall separation. Mine occurred when the rear shelf in front of the rear bed was removed. This piece is structural in nature to support the rear wall. I also removed the rear trim piece that has the white molding in it, and add some new screws down the strip, starting at the bottom and working up.

I should have looked at the rest of your pics before commenting! Great job being done!
