We camped in state parks and COE lakes when all they put in was a picnic table and a gravel/dirt road around cleared campsites. There were no level or flat campsite.
I've set up with track campers (10' 6" ) where the front bumper was 4' off the ground to get level.
We've camper with 26'/28'/32' 5th wheel trailers with the pin high enough I could walk under it.
I use adjustable chocks and block the wheels with 6"X 6"x 12' long wood blocks.Never had any roll away issues on some pretty steep slopes.
Wood or plastic blocks can slip if on gravel or concrete/asphalt and a steep angle.
Also extending landing jacks/other jack types all the way out can lead to a shaky trailer. I use wood blocks (10" X 10"),turned so they won't roll on the slope, to shorten the legs.
