SoundGuy, thanks for the picture.
My driveway slopes noticeably to the street so when the trailer is leveled front-to-back the bumper is less than a foot above the driveway while the coupler is ~ 3' - and the trailer is only 22'6" in length.

If you'd prefer to not build a set of parking pads here are a couple of alternatives I've also used that work on a slightly different principle - taking up all the space between adjacent tires with a chocking system that transfers force from the rear tire wanting to roll forward to the front tire, the result being neither can move at all in the slightest. One method is to place a set of rubber chocks between each set of adjacent tires and secure them in place with hardwood spacers, like this.

In this particular pic I've also leveled the trailer side-to-side but this has nothing to do with preventing the trailer from rolling forward on a sloped driveway. Works perfectly and will absolutely prevent the trailer from shifting in any way. :B
If you have sufficient spread between your axles another method I've used in the past is a set of BAL Standard Tire Locking Chocks, the principle of operation being the same as the above described rubber chock system.

They're the quickest to install and of course you can also use them to secure your trailer when camping. :B
What I would NOT rely on solely to secure you camper is a set of BAL X-Chocks, as suggested by another poster. :S The reason is that tires shrink as they cool so if you set the X-Chocks in place after parking the trailer they can easily slip out of position. :E X-Chocks are NOT intended by the manufacturer to actually secure the trailer but to minimize suspension movement as you walk around inside the trailer. Norco even includes a note to this effect in every box of X-Chocks sold - do NOT use their X-Chocks as a "parking brake".
