The reason for the warning on the X-chock is to satisfy their legal department and keep them off the hook. I use the yellow, plastic Camcos and re-tighten after they've sat a bit (and I mean cranked hard). I also use all four wedge chocks in addition to the X-chocks. I can't speak for the Bals, but the Camcos are locked f'in in there! Not going anywhere. I sure trust them more than a rope tied to a tree!
