Is there any disadvantage to putting trailer on a grass sites?

Grass sites can vary a lot. I have seen some on hard packed soil that were fine even with significant rain. I have seen others that quickly got very soft with not much rain. And even within the same campground.
Nothing wrong with grass in itself, it is the soil underneath to be concerned about.
