I just bought one used for much less and it has moved my 3,000 pound single axle boat in and out of my RV Barn with gravel base and in the grass. I have some grade on my property it has to tackle and it has no trouble. It just dose not like the wet grass with the turf tires. It will spin the tires. Need to get the nobbie tires. Also, don't put full air pressure in the tires and that will help. It helps me to get both my Travel Trailer and my boat in a Barn I built just for the trailer. Like others, I could get it in with TV, but had to unhitch and rehitch to get the angles right. With the dolly, just put it in. Don't need fast in tight places anyway. Put it on the TV for fast. The motor is quite powerful. It is a simple atv winch motor, so if you burn it up, it cost $79.00 at local or Internet store. Tires on Internet are $65.00 a pair and you can buy a hitch ball for $10.00 at auto parts store and weld your own 3 bumps on it. So ranting on the price of add ons shows your ignorance or lack of mechanical aptitude. These dolly's have been built for the mechanically inclined to repair easily.
Have not used it on my TT yet, but will in February. I should move it just fine. I'll try to remember to post the results.
Thanks Kamp-N-Head. This was the kind of constructive feedback I was looking for.
