Maybe you have done this already but it seems to me your time and energy would be more profitably spent by E mailing the company and asking them for an accounting of this transaction be sent to you. IN WRITING.
If this is a simple mistake on their part they very well may correct it. If not then at least you will know what they did and have something to go on.
But you will get a much better response if your inquiry is polite and well reasoned. And remember the people you speak to on the phone were more than likely not responsible for this decision or mistake.
In any case calling names and venting your anger, while it might make you feel better, is completely unproductive and counter to your best interests when trying to fix a problem like this.
