Basically, I think they're doing what Ford is doing: replace their v8s with turbo v6s. So Ford is really the "game changer" here.
Seems like it could be mostly achievable for Chrysler to pull this off
IF they work to put the 1500 on a diet. That still leaves for coefficient of drag to contend with when compared to a sedan.

Smaller displacement with boost and reducing weight. Ford had the right idea but didn't fully refine it yet. We all know that really takes time but again, credit to Chrysler for being forward thinking too and not being arrogant because someone else already made moves in that direction.
