I must have 6 so not likely. I was very hard to even find a 6 seat Laramie. - HouseApeExplorer

The "wording" you used was misunderstood by me...not trying to be a smart aleck, if you read it, it looked like you were stating something about not having 6 seats...BUT, I did figure you meant it wouldn't seat 6 people AND you are correct due to the console.
no offense meant, I just didn't understand your post.. I apologize.
None taken! - BenKExplorerIMHO...
Leather is second to cloth for breath-ability and better than vinyl
To me...what if the point of poking holes in leather? Also thought about plugging
them up with all of the various folks and kids that ride in my vehicles...especially
my TV and/or Rec vehicles
My luxury stuff...nobody eats in them. Water is okay
If it gets that hot that I'll need ventilation...I'll either take more frequent
rest stops and/or place a beach towel between me and the seat
Used to have a nifty seat liner that had an air gap and did NOT change the way
the seat held...but it cracked and no more. Can't find them anywhere and forgot

They don't offer black leather in the Longhorns do they? I just can't do the Tan or Saddle. To me it looks dirty all the time.
X2. Cowboy themed trucks don't appeal to me personally.... Nothing wrong with them... Just not appealing..,
LTZ Chevy.... Now we are talking ;)
I owned 4 LTZ Chevy's...last one I looked at was a 14'....chevy is a great looking truck, but unless you've actually looked at the interior of the Ram Longhorn and set in it and drove it, then it may be a little more appealing than what are making it out to be...I felt the same way about the Dodge/Ram trucks at first, but changed my mind after setting in one for the first time.
and again, the dark brown interior, don't see how one looks at it and it "appears dirty all the time"....:h
Don't buy a Grand Cherokee Limited either...pretty much "cowboy theme" to it also....high grade leather like in the Longhorn.
I really don't care what grade of leather, but it sounds like at least your seats are staying together. Not being a bling guy, I do really like the Laramie interior over the Longhorn . I like the subtle stitching on the seats ,and dash, just enough to give it appeal. It would just be nice if it didn't have such crappy workmanship, pretty disappointing for a 60K plus truck. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Issue is you can't get a 6 seat longhorn. Other then the the color and the embroidery what's the difference?
Confused about your question.
"can't get a 6 seat Longhorn":h Yeah, I'm confused also unless he means you can't get a 6 passenger Longhorn...if so, the Laramie I had wasn't a "6 seat" either....but not sure what is being said.
I was stating a fact. When I was looking for a new truck to replace my 07 I didn't even look at the Longhorns because you can not get 6 seats.
Since I never sat in one or looked at them on the lot I ask a question.
Well don't ever test drive a LongHorn because you will be driving a 5 seater!:B
What ? Do they put in a different motor . Bling does sell thats a fact. - cummins2014Explorer

I hear you there, I'm the same, but if I knew before hand what crappy seats MY truck had, I might have considered the Longhorn, just to save the hassle, if in fact they are any better. - cummins2014Explorer

YES. They are air conditioned!!!!!
3.5 years and no problems. 15 LongHorn on order will have them.
I have the same seats, the drivers seat is becoming separated from whatever its attached to , big bubble in the center of the bottom seat, passenger side the front attachment will not stay attached ,if someone is riding with shorts on it rubs the heck out of the back of their legs, two trips to the dealer for that one still no solution. What it ends up to be is that they either replace the bottom portion or I can take it to a upholstery shop ,and have it hog ringed. New drivers seat on order still waiting. Drivers side rear seat side attachment comes loose, same attachment problem as the passenger front seat, it has been pushed back into place so far so good.
Overall very poor seat construction. Very well documented on the Cummins Forum about the attachment on the front of the seats, this is not an isolated problem. The heated portion is almost undetectable on the low setting ,high setting is somewhat better, no where near the comfort level from our other vehicles , this is also another complaint on the Cummins forum.
But heck so far no problem with the passenger rear side, time will tell.
Here's another video on the seats in these trucks...

Thanks for the link, exact problems I have with my front seats, the drivers side is going to be replaced. I could care less about whether its leather, vinyl or whatever, it would just be nice if the seats would remain together instead of coming apart.
I keep hearing all the bragging about these new Ram interiors, not sure there is a whole lot to brag about, as in a lot of things these days , a lot of bling. The same company builds the Longhorn, I can't believe there is that much better quality put into them, but some tend to stay quiet about such things after all the hype they put into their trucks. The Cummins forum brings it all out, so pretty tough to hide . - jerem0621Explorer II
