Once out of warranty, I added a SuperChips tuner, specifically for tire size adjustment with up-sizing my tires (not much, 245's to 265's). I went ahead and got the tuner with performance options, just for fun. I played with the various settings and settled in on 'Performance-Tow'. It is not the super increase in torque and HP that 'Performance' brings, but is noticable. My MPG did not change, but the truck has even more pep than it did before. 'Performance' tune was kinda scary, actually. The gas pedal had too much 'jump' in it, for me.
