I tow my 20' jet boat with mine, it weighs about 4000lbs including the trailer.
The only problem with this is the length of the boat and truck camper, I think I am over 50'.
I am maxed out on GVWR with the boat. My total weight with bat is 18,200.
I added a front hitch to take a little weight off the rear axle.
Front axle is 4850, rear axle is 9000, carry about 30 gallons of water.
Without the boat the camper/truck is much easier to get around.
With a North-South bed, they must have done away with the huge wardrobe in the front and moved it to the side.
I think the wardrobe will hold all the clothes I own, I don't need that much space.
Mine came with an 26" LED TV, that runs off of AC or DC, and has a built in DVD.I usually run the TV and Blu-ray off a 1500 watt inverter that Host installed in the basement.
Yes, I like the jacks, they came with a wireless remote and a wired remote that has a jack in generator compartment.
The only real problem I have had that wasn't self inflicted was I tore off the awning switch when pulling in the rear slide.
I put that slide in at least 50 times with no problem, but once I was off kilter a little and the slide wobbled a little at the wrong time and hit the awning switch.
If you notice, the clearance between the valance and the switch is only 1/4" as the valance passes the switch. Host is going to off set the valance to the other side when I stop by this June.
If I had it to do over again, I would not get the awning. I have never used it it 3 years. I have extended it a couple of times at home, just to see if it works.
Yea not sure if I could tow because of the length. I used to haul a smaller (32') 5th wheel and hated parking it. Most of our state campgrounds here are single lane loops and it is absolute hell trying to navigate them with a long tow rig. That's one of the reasons I switched over to the TC. I can park anywhere, I love it!
Just put in the 24" LCD a few minutes ago. Has a built in DVD player works great. I had this model in a 15" in the small bedroom shelf in my 5th wheel and liked it because it can play media (.avi/.mkv etc...) from SD memory cards so I can load up a bunch of TV shows on a 64 GB SDXC card and don't have to bring a stack of DVDs. Direct 12V plugin, no need to run the inverter. Ran a 32" Vizio in my Tahoe running off the 1000w inverter, but sadly that wouldn't swivel out to be viewable from the area due to lack of space in the Everest (width between the fridge and bathroom wall is too small). I think I have an extra VESA 100 mount laying around, may try to add another TV by the thermostat, I see alot of the newer hosts have one mounted here, though I think 2 TV's in a TC's might be overkill.
Awnings....... This is my 6th RV, I have *NEVER* used the awning in any of them. Most of that was due to the hassle of putting it in or out depending on the weather. However, this will be my first camper with the electric awning which makes putting it in or out very quick so I may actually use it now....... or maybe not, was never really a big fan of them.
