I did test drive a 2011 shortly after we bought our current Ram. It was very nice, 6.7 with the G56 six speed. It was alright, but I was out of town working and certainly not going to get the DW to go along with changing so soon.
Besides I am less than 12,000 mile of rolling 300,000 miles! :B Then the engine will at least broke in, and fuel mileage should improve above the 20+ mpg it get empty on the highway, and 12 mpg it gets towing 11,000#.

I am looking forward to the 300k mile report. Does it use any oil between changes? I'm really impressed at the mileage these Cummins engines go.
If/when you think of upgrading be sure to look at a 2013 or up truck. As I'm sure you know they have a lot of upgrades both in and out compared to the previous models and the addition of DEF has made them much better on fuel.
