We tow a 32' TT and it can be a daunting experience refueling along the way but we have always managed to get it done. We start looking for refueling options once the fuel gauge states a half tank allowing us plenty of time to find a station that has (relatively) easy in and out access. Even with the best laid plans, there have been a couple of instances where we had to refuel with a spare 5 gallon gas can (stored under the metal rollout cover of our pick-up bed) to get to the next station. On one rare occasion, we have had to detach our TT down the street from the station and drive our truck to the pump in order to refuel but that was in the middle of nowhere with no other options available for about a 100 miles. With a little patience and a bit of good luck, we have squeezed in and out of some really tight refueling situations. We don't overstress the refueling issue too much as it's all part of the adventure of traveling with our TT. Happy camping!!!
