His link is correct. The F-series is generally the most sold pickup truck globally and has been for many years. It is usually followed by the Silverado and Ram. The Hilux tends to come in fourth or fifth most years.
That is what the Stadia site linked Global Pickup sales, they do not list any other vehicle. The other link includes everything else. Globally people buy cars and SUV's that is why the Corolla is No.2 or No.1 In the US main emphasis on Pickups, so they rate higher
As well you have strong selling manufacturers that do not sell in the US, so that second list is considerably longer.
The listing Shiner Brock has lower sales figures than the Stadia listing. Hilux was 540,000 F150 900,000 in the Stadia listing.
Ford Authority lists 820,000 for the FSeries for 2016 As against the 643.222 in the Global Automotive listing.

F150 is closer to a non Global product as it is sold only in North America. Hilux and Corolla sold in well over a 100 countries
The listing I provided was "year to date" for 2016 meaning from January 2016 to October 2016. NOT year end. That is what "year to date" means.
It doesn't matter how many countries the Hilux is sold in. The fact is that the Hilux has less sells than the American F-series, Silverado, and Ram trucks regardless of where it is sold. That is a fact.
