Bear with me on my description ... but my interior door leading to the bathroom has a plastic molding around it. It is the type that has a "lip" all the way around it and covers about a 1/2 in perimet...

You haven't provided any details at all about just which make / model / year of trailer you have but if it's a relatively recent model the most obvious solution would be to ask your selling dealer if he can get you an original replacement from the factory. If it's an older trailer or one from a manufacturer that is no longer in business you might get lucky and find something similar at McMaster-Carr.
