Our blinds strings are all starting to break. Where is the best place to get replacements and how do I figure out the color they are since it was a used trailer, would the vin# tell me something? ...

Actually, take a sample to a fabric store and buy the string in the closest size they have. I buy about 50 yards at a time. Soak in cold tea, yea sounds dumb, but the color is nearly perfect, for about 30 minutes. Rinse and dry. There are instructions all over the internet on how to. Or you can buy one of the really expensive restring kits that come with instructions. Your choice. They are not hard to do. The hardest part is getting the tension right.
