I found that drilling or cutting any plexiglass, Lexan, or other brittle plastics they tend to crack. Fine tooth, dull cutters work the best because heat is built up which softens the material and almost melts it way through. I found that by dulling drills with concrete first the drills would go through these brittle plastics without cracking.
