The rules vary from campground to campground , you need to ask . Most of the time it’s a matter of consideration and accessibility. Being in a tent surrounded by RV’s is not wonderful. I know I don’t care to be sandwiched between 40’ MH’s , even in my TC . Sometimes is so the view is not completely blocked from those across the road . Most tent sites don’t have hookups . Sometimes it doesn’t matter at all .
