I guess you are saying the camp grounds that has generator run time restrictions in place may allow you to run your truck engine for several hours at idle to do some battery charging??? I see alot of Motorhomes doing this or they are running their generators and no one knows if it is the truck motor or the generator running.
I have done this to get some quick power back into the batteries to aid in doing something but have never run for three hours to re-charge my battery bank back up to their 90% charge state...
May have to make a trail run here and see how that works for me... SOunds like a good PLAN B to have in place.
