I am really considering mounting brackets on both sides of the roof near the top to support aluminum angles going across the roof to support my panels. The Aluminum angles will all support my wiring from the panels to get to the sides where I can enter the popup. This will also give a quick disconnect point using pins and latches so I can easily remove and replace the panels. I will most likely use the 3M stick on mounts in the center of the roof to support the aluminum frames. Two of my panels mounted to the front of the trailer will also be used for portable use if I get caught in the shade of tree. Will have quick disconnect electrical connections as well. Being a POPUP which has an accessible roof with both feet standing on the ground could be very helpful here. My fear however I may have to add a couple of these panels to the roof area after I raise the roof due to being to much weight on the roof for my electric lift system.
