If the 3000-3500W generators are to big to handle, then two 2000W generators are the answer. Honda is the "king of this hill", but there are a lot to choose from. Yamaha makes one. Champion is coming out with a new small 2000W inverter generator. YouTube reports on the new Harbor Freight line of inverter generators are all very positive (buy the extended warranty).
Some of the "parallel kits" that are sold do NOT have a TT30 outlet so buyer beware. The Champion kit has both a TT30 and an L5-30.
