Champion model 100216 comes RV ready. Standard 30 amp RV outlet, 3650 running watts, 4500 surge watts, under $400. However, it is not certified for sale / use in the California. They also make an inverter generator ($1200 range) that is RV ready.

I have the 100216 model. Got it on sale ($299) at Tractor Supply. Does a good job running my trailer, no adapters required, and it's not very loud.
