To the OP, what does "I'd like to get a generator for camping off the grid." mean? Parking lot overnighting? Popular crowded campgrounds (where generators are allowed?) Isolated boondocking? All these things matter.
Like someone pointed out, his generator is not as quiet as some others. None are silent, no matter what color they are. The EU2000i generators have a cult following and I have owned a couple of these 1,600 watt generators myself. I have tricked them into running my AC, some of the time. Maybe a little more about your budget and intended use will get you some good advice instead of the predictable cut and paste responses often offered on this topic.
