Oh, I'd say you're attempting to, feeble as the attempt it may be. :R
And FWIW, although some of these alternates may have a Honda clone engine that doesn't mean the internal parts are manufactured to the same standards. Regardless that some may not agree the adage that you get what you pay for generally holds true, even with generators. ;)
