Twice now we have made an impulse / after-work trip (50 miles) up Highway 2 (Steven’s Pass) to a USFS campground called “Beckler River.” Gorgeous campground nestled in the Washington State Cascade mountains along side an ideal river. Fun to head up after work and be home in time to get to the office the next day. Kids love it.
