- lonegunmanExplorerThe "door sticker" thing is only interesting to a few weight nazis on this forum. I was 1,500 lbs over the much feared "door sticker" for 5,000 miles this summer and my tires didn't explode, the FBI didn't care and my truck ran perfectly fine.
I was still 500lbs under my registered weight. I can promise you most of the hundreds of TCs I saw this summer were bumping max GVWR. Only one or two needed some suspension help.
You "bought a dually" in hopes of being the coolest kid in the KOA,,,,,,,,congrats. - Buzzcut1Nomad III have wider rims rated at 3600 each and 265/75R17 tires instead of whats listed on the OEM sticker
truck no tailgate full tank of fuel, 8' horse stall mat in bed
Truck with fully loaded Lance 1055 ( plus two kayaks on roof) - FarmerjonExplorer
This is the truck and camper w/o the horse trailer we are 140lbs under the GVWR, Add the trailer and we go over the GVWR by 560lbs but our rear axle is under by 2090lbs.
Our new truck solves the GVWR problem. The 2 trucks weigh within 100lbs of each other but we have gained 2800lbs in GVWR. - SoCalDesertRid1Explorer

I did that for a few years, running my 11,000 GVWR '97 F350 diesel, at 13,000 lbs loaded, daily, in welding service. After 4 or 5 years of that, I was tired of being 2000 lbs overloaded all the time.
My GVWR is 11,400.
My weight with the camper and family is around 13,000.
I don't know how to post pictures.
As fate would have it, the truck burned down in a fire. Total loss. :(
I used the opportunity to upgrade to a MUCH heavier duty service truck. The new truck has 33,000 GVWR, 12,000 FGAWR, 21,000 RGAWR, 23,500 lb rear suspension, and loaded it weighs only 20,000 GVW. I'm MUCH happier now, being 13,000 lbs UNDERloaded! :B - SoCalDesertRid1Explorer

Grey shirts don't hand out weight slips (well, unless you get a ticket I guess..) but hey, I know how to write down numbers.
Got a note in the truck from a past excursion.. I'm guessing Snowmobile trailer.

AF 1150, no more than one or two (dozen???) bottles of wine and maybe some Crown. Wife, invisible dog, and always full tanks of water..
I've got a broken link for the pic... working on a fix. - SoCalDesertRid1ExplorerI don't have a picture, but my '92 F350SRW crew cab long box 4x4 gas engine pickup has 9200 GVWR, 4650 FGAWR, 6084 RGAWR, per the VIN sticker. Also no picture, but I've weighed the truck many times over the last several years and it currently weighs 7000 lbs, without camper.
The camper is a 1960's vintage 8-footer and weighs about 1500 lbs.
The truck's springs, wheels, tires, shocks and suspension bushings have all been upgraded. The truck has hauled a 4000 lb utility body full of welding equipment, daily, for about 5 years, before I retired it back to personal use, after upgrading to a heavier duty truck for welding service use.
Compared to the heavy utility body, the truck doesn't even know the camper is on there. The camper merely calms the suspension down, just a little, versus an empty bed. :) - Reality_CheckNomad IIGrey shirts don't hand out weight slips (well, unless you get a ticket I guess..) but hey, I know how to write down numbers.

two things you can see here...
1) I am 780 lbs out of compliance as far the Ford Motor C0 is concerned.
2) The kid running in and out of the weigh-masters shack needs a new pair of gloves. - VinsilExplorerMines fun I'll just list it as I don't feel like walking out to the parking to take a pic.
gvwr is 9000 lbs. yeah my payload is less than a Tacoma.
My last scaled weight without boat was 12,200 lbs.
