Any power tongue jack I've owned I've covered with a simple tongue jack cover which is designed for the purpose, inexpensive, and can be left permanently in place and have never had any tongue jack issues related to moisture. A couple of years ago I bought this inexpensive genset cover and use it to cover the entire A frame anytime the trailer is parked between trips here at the house.
