Ppo-up awning bag replacement/ alternative/ solutions !?

We had an awning bag rip once, and we took it off, put it in the garage and put off having it fixed (mostly because it was 14v feet long, so a bit of a hassle to take somewhere. Eventually, I did fix it with the speedy awl pictured above. But, then it was damned near impossible to reinstall in the channel. When we sold the rig, it was given separately.
