Lance has ducting into the basement for the furnace to heat it but if it is going to drop into the mid teens or below I do drain the fresh water and water heater systems and put Antifreeze into the grey and fresh water storage tanks so I can still use them. I carry 3-4 3.5 gallon jugs of water for drinking and flushing and wash cloth baths, just heat the water on the stove.
If the temps bomb and I do have water in the system. I run the water heater up and I keep all the cabinets open to allow warm air into all the basement areas
