I think I had an honest dealer. His customers within the northeast typically agree. Anyway I trust Bill from East End Campers and his other location, Truck Camper Warehouse.

In addition I bought a used camper from Bill that he was selling on consignment. The sellers agreed to have the camper in like new condition and of course Bill did any needed repairs and charged the seller. I would highly recommend that way of buying a used camper.

My unit had no leaks and did not leak for at least a couple of years.

Sounds like a good, honest dealer (wish there were more like that). Never bought a used TC but the last one I bought, my P'Up, I bought from Outpost RV in Goshen, Indiana and I have to say that they appeared to me to be first rate. I bought it sight unseen (Internet) and left it there (on their lot) all winter and picked it up in the spring, was never an issue other than they told me they could have sold it 5 times...lol Went through everything, well when I arrived to pick it up, they realized right away I had another unit or had sold another unit because the truck was all set up for the camper so it was really a matter of loading it, securing the tie down's and I was on my way. I'd buy from them again, no issue. They have a very nice service department and shop as well with no kids working there.

I tend to look around and observe when I'm dealing with a camper or vehicle. I'm patently curious. Comes from my pre-retirement job. I was paid very well to be curious and observant. I ask a lot of questions, distill the answers and make my judgments on that input. Was a great job but sometimes stressful when I was dealing with employees jobs. I learned pretty quick not to take it home and not to make it personal.
