Forgot about the adjustable stinger on the PP - wouldn't have changed my choice, though, as I haven't found any PP locally used.
If I was buying new, however, the adjustable stinger would probably sway me, as well as the price to the PP.
The adjustable stinger is heavier than the standard stinger. The stinger is the only part of those hitches that you have to handle regularly.
I thought the standard stinger was a heavy greased mess. The adjustable is a heavier greased mess. Don't get me wrong I loved my HA however I don't think I want the stinger to be any heavier.
Unless you tow with multiple tow vehicles the adjustment feature is really not necessary and only adds to the weight.
Yes you may need a different size stinger if you change tow vehicles, but how often do you change vehicles?
I prefer the non adjustable stinger simply because of its lighter size.
Price a side they are basically the same hitch in different colors.
