- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIISome thing with regular ball shank........take it out and stow it.
I had a old canvas bag that I would put ball shank in to keep it from getting inside of my truck dirty
That Hensley stinger isn't going to be used on other equipment except your trailer so why not stow it inside trailer when not needed
OR leave it attached to hitch - JframpeyExplorerStow it in a compartment on the trailer
- Keith_HawExplorerStowing it in the trailer is a good idea, and in a canvas bag is even better.
Thanks - evanremExplorer IIIt goes into the front compartment
- Golden_HVACExplorerLock it up.
A steel recycling place will give anyone $0.35 a pound or about $10 for one, and it will cost $75+ to replace it.
Fred. - LantleyNomadI stored the stinger in the TT
- atreisExplorerI pull it and stick it in the back of the van. It weighs only 20 lbs, so this is very easy - one of the major advantages over my old Equalizer.

Same here in the front compartment. - 93Cobra2771ExplorerI have a crew cab, usually raise the back seat up and put it under there.
Sometimes I will leave it in the receiver on the truck, but I have the truck backed up close enough to the TT that someone won't bust their shin on it. - notevenExplorer IIIBang yer knee on it?
