Does it include the shank (draw bar)? Some Reese kits like mine don't. If not, I ordered my draw bar from Lowe's of all places for $53.
when you say draw bar are you talking the gold color bar that is with it but doesn't appear to have a home on the hitch its self? forgive my ignorance but this is my first go with weight distribution.
Anyone want to give me the run down on any tips or tricks
This is the part I bought from Lowes. Prices for hitches and hitch parts are all over the place. I thought this was pretty good.

whats everyone using for grease?
Any high quality automotive grease will work just fine but if by "Windsor" as your location you mean Windsor, Ontario then you might be interested in this tube of Permatex Ultra Slick Synthetic Grease sold at Canadian Tire ... I always keep a tube in the trailer and find it really handy having grease available in an easy to store tube. :) - jerem0621Explorer III just use whatever grease happens to be in my grease gun. These things can wear pretty fast without the grease so good choice to use it. Don't forget to grease the ball too:)
Thanks!
Jeremiah - Jebby14ExplorerI was playing with it this morning. seems well put together and solid. powdercoat is well done too. looking forward to it. whats everyone using for grease?
- jerem0621Explorer IIProSeries makes a great standard Weight Distribution hitch! No need to spend a. Inch of money on a more expensive standard hitch. This one will Work for you just fine.
The Draw bar is the part that goes into the receiver. The head mounts on the end of the draw bar.
Thanks!
