Probably a Silly Question
But..... Why don't they separate dual-trailer axles and make them more like car/truck axles? Like put one near the front and another near the rear? Seems like they would be more stable then too.

The 2nd/3rd trailer on a highway hauler has a pivot point, either a second fifth wheel or a pintle hitch.
