Probably a Silly Question
But..... Why don't they separate dual-trailer axles and make them more like car/truck axles? Like put one near the front and another near the rear? Seems like they would be more stable then too.

It may not be totally impossible to back double trailers, but I doubt one driver in a hundred can back a set of doubles more than a few feet.
