not sure what you mean by swap?
they only run on shore power or a generator. even with an inverter and a bank of batteries, it'd eat up the battery power pretty quickly.
a ceramic heater or oil-filled heater are just options when you have electric hookups to supplement your propane furnace.
they aren't supposed to replace your propane furnace.

That makes sense. I somehow misunderstood.
In that case, it won't help us much at all. We dry camp most of the time.
we also dry camp almost all the time, which is why we have a two battery setup, a 400w inverter, a blue boy tote tank and a Honda 2000.
we'll soon be doing a lot of camping up your way.
we're moving this summer, to Camano Island, to our retirement property.
