ok, so, for the record, right up front I am not affiliated with Amazon or Dometic.... Since getting to my (or most any of your) propane tanks just to take them out to see how heavy they are is a PI...

I have a horizontal LP tank. I added a switching valve and a 6' hose.
If I happen to run out I can easily attach the 6' hose to a regular LP cylinder with it resting on the ground.
Towing a small ATV trailer makes it easy to carry an extra LP cylinder.
I would rather just have the cylinder refilled after every other trip than to spend a bunch of money just to check the liquid level in the cylinder.
