Gluing on aluminium checker plate
Hey folks,
First post here and I'm looking for help. I have a 2007 Jayco 20ft travel trailer. Before I bought it somebody closed the door while the latch was in place and broke a hole in the bottom of the door.
I had a buddy cut me up some checker plate aluminum to cover the front and back door mainly to hide the hole and to make it match the checker plate on the front of the trailer.
My question is what glue or installation tips would you folks have for me to attach the thin aluminum to the what seems like plastic covered door.
There is foam inside the door I've found out from the 4" hole that is there.
Thanks in advance for any input!. Cheers!!
