Propane on while driving- refrigerator

A guy at an RV place told me to shut off my propane while going down the road. I always lefts it on for my refrigerator to keep everything cold. Is that dangerous? He said my fridge would keep everything cold for 5 or 6 hours if we did not open it. Kinda screws up making lunch during the trip.

  • I never shut my propane off and always run my fridge while on the road. 10 yrs and never a problem.
