Yup, and the 30# horizontals are even more. I replaced both of mine about three years ago when I started having leakage problems with one of the valves. I was having such a hard time getting it repaired that I decided to buy new instead.

I here 'ya..I wish mine had two 30's instead of the two 20's..Those 20's just don't last that long in the winter with heat needed 24/7 especially if you do the exchange thing..Were looking for our last TC we will ever buy and the Arctic Fox is high on our list because of the 30# tanks..My wife wants the 865 even without a slide out which surprised me.
When I bought my TC with the older horizontal tanks,I cleaned them up and painted them and took both over to the local propane distributor..He looked them over and explained the grandfather clause on horizontal tanks and then put some new stickers on them and sent me down the road...I was worried about having to buy new but I didn't..
